Preventative care
Science has come a long way in recent years, allowing us to identify health problems earlier. As a result, we are proud to offer annual health assessments, including yearly wellness bloodwork. With the information we gather, we can establish a baseline for your animal, identify any changes and amend their care plan (diet, medication, or environment) to their individual age and stage.
Just as we visit our doctor for a regular health check and screening, we encourage you to do the same with your furry family member. We can help keep their health on track and prevent illness and disease, so they can live their best lives.
Surgery
Anexa offers a range of surgical services, including de-sexing, soft tissue, orthopaedics, and dentistry. With a large pool of talented, experienced small animal veterinary surgeons, you can be confident that our team will provide the best care for your pet. We also work with a wider network of specialists that we can refer to when required.
Emergency care
Accidents and emergencies happen. When they do, our team will calmly support you through this challenging time. Anexa has 11 clinics throughout the Waikato, some of which are core small animal clinics with facilities such as x-ray and ultrasonography. The Anexa team are equipped to provide a follow-up care plan and hospital stay if needed. We also work alongside Waikato After Hours so that if your pet requires after-hours care, our team can be fresh in the morning to give your pet the best care as they recover.
What our clients say…
Great clinic! Neither of my dogs are very comfortable visiting the vet, but the vet and vet nurse that we saw were really excellent with them and made the visit as relaxed as possible – highly recommend.
I have found the vets and staff at Anexa extremely friendly, helpful and caring. My first time meeting the vets and staff was when one of my dogs got injured, I was greeted with friendly reception staff. Once a vet had assessed my dog I was provided with excellent information and suggestions to go ahead with my dogs recovery.
Very thorough, reasonable pricing and lots of good information.
