Connecting with the wider rural community is an important part of being an Anexaian. This week at the National Fieldays Rebecca Smith, Anexa Veterinarian, and Brendon O’Leary, Waikato Dairy Farmer and Anexa Board Director, shared their experience with Johnes disease.
“Johnes disease negatively impacts many dairy farms in New Zealand, yet the true magnitude and cost of this disease are not well known. It was a privilege to be invited as a guest speaker to the LIC Fieldays site to present on how we can manage the disease and reduce its impact. I also enjoyed the opportunity to chat with farmers off-farm and reconnect with the team at LIC.”
