Join Anexa Veterinary Services in a Vet Nurse role as part of our Raglan team. This is a varied role where you will be an integral part of the day to day running of the clinic, supporting veterinarians, and providing exceptional care to clients and their animals.

Anexa Veterinary Services has 11 veterinary clinics across the Waikato and Hauraki Plains providing services to family pets, and both dairy and drystock farmers. Each of our clinics are unique but at Anexa we are one team.
About the Raglan Clinic and Team
Our Raglan clinic is a friendly mixed practice clinic, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to all our clients and their animals. You will join two Vet Nurses, Customer Service staff and work with a number of Companion Animal and Mixed Practice Veterinarians.
Our team is passionate about growing our companion animal services and meeting the demand of our smallies customer base. We would like to grow our team to continue to deliver quality service. We are excited to have someone new join us in this venture and to work closely with our small animal clients and their pets. About the Vet Nurse Role
You will be the first port of call for our vets during consults and surgery and you will be integral to managing client relationships. Surgical support, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and treatment, admitting and discharging pets and communicating with clients will be the main priorities of this role, along with assisting veterinarians with consults and supporting the other nurses in the team. Nurse consults e.g. post-operative checks, dental checks etc are also an important aspect that we would like to grow.
You will play a valuable part in developing the breadth and efficiency of our day-to-day companion animal services while being well-supported by the team. Anexa recognises the importance of continually supporting our nurses to grow their clinical knowledge and skill set.
This role role is 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Outside of these permanent hours you will work on the Raglan Saturday morning roster on a rotational basis.
About you
You will be a team player who isn’t afraid to go the extra mile when needed. You will be confident in surgical nursing and general nursing tasks and enjoy the customer service and working in a productive and driven team. You will be a qualified and experienced Vet Nurse, Large Animal experience would be beneficial as is previous experience in a Mixed Practice Clinic. You will value fostering good relationships with clients and colleagues, enjoy having fun at work and supporting your team.
