Supergrad Day 3

The Supergrad programme is designed to empower new graduate vets to reach their full potential. 

The Supergrad programme is four days of Continuing Professional Development spread throughout the year. It is designed for new and recently graduated veterinarians and has been running in its current format since 2008. Each day includes a range of speakers covering topics that will be relevant in practice over the upcoming months. Our goal is to cover topics in a way that may not have been taught at Massey or to reinforce things now that there is an experience base to build on.

While the primary focus of the clinical components of the course is seasonal production animal medicine and surgery, we also cover small animal and equine topics, emergency medicine, herd health investigations, and non-clinical skills such as communication and legal responsibilities. The additional benefit of having this forum for new graduates to congregate, swap war stories, support one another, and share ideas, which cannot be overemphasised.
