Nominated candidates for 2022 are:

Gaynor Tierney

I have served on the Anexa board the past three years and I am standing for re-election.

My husband and I are currently dairy farming in Ngaruawahia and 2 support blocks in Whatawhata. We returned full-time from overseas travel/work in 2000 and progressed through the industry, managing through to sharemilking and farm ownership. We have been clients of Anexa for over 20 years.

I have developed leadership skills within the Agri-business sector in addition to working on the farm and bringing up our children. I have worked outside the farm gate in many roles with DairyNZ (Consulting Officer, Project Mgmt) Federated Farmers, Primary ITO and currently tutor the Agribusiness Diploma and facilitate Environment workshops for the P3 Trust.

I have valued the opportunity in my term to provide support to the Anexa leadership team and have enjoyed working with the Governance team overseeing a thriving local and community focused business.

Greg Mills

My wife Kathy and I own and operate a 360 cow dairy farming business at Tahuna.  I also work as a consultant with commercial boards and shareholders supporting effective governance practices.  I have a background in banking / finance and have held a number of board and governance roles with other farming and commercial enterprises.

I offer both commercial business governance experience as well as practical hands-on farming knowledge and understanding for the Anexa board.

It would be a privilege to contribute to the governance of Anexa.  I would appreciate your support in this election if you are seeking a commercially experienced director that is actively involved with the day-to-day operations of their own farming business with a strong focus on ensuring Anexa has a clear well communicated strategy and a strong focus on consistently delivering high quality profit generating animal health services to our members.

I am excited to put my name forward for the Anexa Board. Last year I made the decision to step back from my corporate career for a while and put my energy into our family, community and farm where we Sharemilk 500 cows outside Morrinsville.

I am passionate about the importance of balanced, open and honest governance. I’m experienced in data and insights driven risk-balanced decision making. I believe in ensuring people have the right support to thrive. For Anexa that means ensuring our fantastic vets and their well-being is at the centre of the organisation.

I have strong business acumen, planning and operational skills developed through my career at LIC and Fonterra. I enjoy building successful cultures to work towards common goals. Strategically I am balanced between being future focused and on performance today.

I can commit to being a passionate and dedicated director for Anexa.
