5 Reasons to get your ram palpations done early:

  • Pick up Brucella ovis so we have time to eradicate pre-mating
  • Get sale rams bled and tested for B.ovis well in advance of sales
  • Remove rams with undeveloped testicles, cryptorchidism (only one testicle) or hernias allowing time for replacements to be sought.
  • Give any vasectomised rams time to heal before mating (at least 8 weeks needed before use)
